During the Coronavirus pandemic, many people lost their job and many of them are young people.
About one-third of the aged 18 to 24 in the UK lost their job. Also, about 1.8 million people aged 18 to 24 lost their job in the USA too.
Then, why this situation happens?
The main reason why young people lose their jobs is that their jobs are usually temporary.
Many retail businesses, food businesses, and hospitality businesses are the sectors where hire many young people. But, since those jobs for the young people are usually temporary and had the most critical damage by the Covid19.
On the other hand, jobs that can be done by remote working are usually for someone who is experienced and matured at their works. Not for the young people who are not experienced and mature.
In my opinion, even though this crisis is critical, people can deal with it by using the government's welfare funding and learning something new online at home.
