While reading this essay, I felt that the biotechnology that humans had cumulated is quite enormous and powerful. This article is about the technology that coped with the novel coronavirus. The trailblazing technology we used and the meaning of those successes point out the new anticipating future of human civilization.

According to the article, due to the worldwide threat of the novel coronavirus, the human civilization around the world had been conducted about 350,000 bits of researches using preprinted servers that made finding candidate materials almost instantaneously.

By pouring enormous amounts of resources like this, we humans had developed technology using RNA as practical medicine. This application of genetics to medicine partly reflected a huge and rapid gain of efficiency. Reading the human DNA cost about 10 million dollars in 2007, but now it cost only 1000 dollars. Also in a very short time compared to the past.

Research teams started researches using RNA as medicine in 1976, and they finally succeed in using it as practical medicine within decades.

The availability of using RNA as medicine has huge meaning for the human species.

First, we can make medicine much cheaply since the process of making RNA medicine requires fewer tests.

Second, we can make customized medicine much more easily using DNA. This will help rich countries' chronic health issues.

Finally, this technology can deal with many other deadly diseases since it directly uses RNA.

In my opinion about the article, those technologies we gained will boost the gap of quality of life between people.

Some people may be blessed because of the customized medicine but some arent.

Since the media and social network service allowed us to see around the world, people might feel unfair because of the difference.

This may cause social conflict. Therefore, in my opinion, we should make medicine much more cheaply and make it available for many people.

Thank you.
